The Orion's belt complex contains many interesting nebulae. Amongst the common show-piece targets, Horsehead nebula, Flame and reflection nebula M78 (lower right of frame), there are numerous fainter objects such as IC423, the Tear Drop Nebula located between the bright stars Mintaka (left) and Alnilam (middle). This image is a four panel LRGB mosaic. |
